If you’ve visited the nursery and gardens recently, you may have wondered what plants we’ve planted in the new wildlife garden, so I’ve put together lists of which plants are in each area of the garden. We have created several borders, each for a group of wildlife: bees, butterflies, bird and bats and the wildlife pond. The gardens change quite dramatically from being very open over winter and spring until the willow has grown through summer to reach over ten feet tall by autumn, making the gardens feel enclosed and almost a secret garden.

Many of them are available to buy now in the nursery. There are also information boards in each border so you can learn about which plants are good for which section of wildlife, bugs and beasties.
